About Dayana

I am a land steward and educator I was an educator and interpreter for the Santa Barbara zoo for two years, one year at the boys and girls club, and two years with Ventura land trust. I love going outdoors and enjoying nature with my students. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, responsible, and hardworking I like working with kids because they perceive life so differently from adults and it's very refreshing hearing a child's perspective. I'm currently a forest preschool teacher and outdoor educator. I have babysitting experience and references I started working with kids when I was 20 years of age at the boys and girls club in Oxnard. With that experience I became a educator for the Santa Barbara zoo. In my spare time, I like to go camping, backpacking, birding, One thing you should know about me is I am willing to step in whenever a family needs me. My skills include wilderness First aid, CPR training, and epi pen training.
