After 35 years in corporate research with about 15 US and European patents, I became a teacher for both 1st year chemistry and pre-calculus at local community colleges. My philosophy is that teaching is just communication. Each pair of humans have a unique communication style between themselves. The instructor must find the optimum communication style that works best for the student and himself. As a highly empathetic individual, I am able to fine tune this style. In addition, I have been very successful with students with ADHD probably because I too have ADHD.
