About Emily

Hello! I am an Elementary school teacher looking for a tutoring position after school hours during the week and open to availability in the summer. I have taught for three years. One year in fourth grade and this is my second year in Kindergarten. I have tutored three students in the past three years as well. A sixth grade student and fourth grade student for math and a first grader for reading. I believe every child is capable of more than they know. Sometimes, they just need to be given the right tools to help get them there. I love helping students find their confidence and cheering them on to reach their light bulb moment! I am highly organized, patient and reliable. I try to keep my lessons as engaging as possible because learning should be fun!!
