I have also worked in a lot of private homes as well and can use hoyer lifts I do vitals and medication management I also check blood sugar levels and have dealt with very low sugar episodes I am also registered with the VA to be paid thru them as well as I had worked for quadriplegic patients in the past I'm very handy in the kitchen and can cook up quite the home cooked meal even with food restrictions (salt, sugar, etc) I love animals of all kinds Love to take walks. Dementia is something I'm very experienced with as well as Alzheimer's. This job is not for everyone you have to have a good heart and compassion.
