Hi! My name is Darby, and I have always loved working with children! I am currently a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) going into my fourth year as a school-based SLP. I have extensive experience in childcare, education, and supporting children with a variety of needs. Prior to becoming an SLP, I worked as a summer camp counselor, youth soccer coach, and behavioral interventionist. After moving to Monterey in 2019, I began working as a nanny and tutor. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked full-time caring for and tutoring two children. I continued working part-time as a nanny and tutor while earning my master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. I am CPR and First-Aid certified and am currently looking for part-time babysitting or tutoring opportunities after school and on weekends. I would love to connect and learn more about your family!

Darby was wonderful! We used her for two nights while on vacation and it was so nice being able to enjoy a quiet dinner while knowing our kids were having fun and being well taken care of. She was prompt in responding to messages, friendly and engaging with the kids, kept our space tidy, and arrived on time. We absolutely recommend her!
