About Jamie

Hello, my name is Jamie and I have been working in childcare for over 6+ years. After receiving my BA in Communications Studies at SFSU, I started employment with a landscaping company and have been dedicated to furthering my career in the landscaping industry. I have recently re-evaluated my current employment and would love to get back into childcare. I have worked at Sacred Heart School in Salinas, Ca starting as an Extension Supervisor and working my way up to a part time 1st grade teacher. My duties included overlooking the children with arts and crafts, playground activities, and homework. I ended my last year there working as the Instructional Aide in the 4th grade classroom and as a part time substitute teacher for 1st grade In addition to working at Sacred Heart School, I nannied three years with the same family. My responsibilities included carpooling, meal preparation, laundry, homework, and organized special activities with the children on a daily to weekly basis.
