About Darah

I'm Darah (he/him), an experienced teacher, tutor, and caretaker. I am available Monday through Wednesday weekly! I have no reservations about changing diapers/potty training, making meals, and doing chores. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, in addition to ServSafe Food Handling, DCFS Licensing, SIDS/SBS/Trauma prevention. I'm passionate about early childhood, having worked in schools and homes with children of all ages and abilities. Please DM me for references. My skills include communicating with kids (both verbally and non-verbally), teaching through music, and fostering children's autonomy/independence/self trust. I started working with kids when I was in high school through babysitting and volunteering, and after college I began my career in childcare as a preschool teacher. I am currently a library school graduate student online. In my spare time, I like to read and write poetry, do yoga, and spend time with friends!
