About Lida

Hi! I'm Lida, an Elementary Education student at Indiana University with several years of experience working with children through classroom field experiences, tutoring, and mentoring. I'm passionate about creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids can learn, grow, and feel confident. In August, I'll begin student teaching full-time in a Chicago Public Schools elementary classroom, and I'll graduate with my B. S. in Elementary Education this December. My goal is to become a full-time elementary teacher, so caring for and supporting children is truly what I love to do. I'm patient, dependable, organized, and enjoy everything from helping with homework and reading to crafts, games, and outdoor activities.
