About Daniel

Hi! My name is Daniel, but you can call me DJ. As a nanny, I have worked with children ages 3 months to 12 years in both full- and part-time roles. I have experience providing one-on-one care as well as care for families with up to four children. These opportunities have allowed me to grow my caretaking, communication, and organizational skills as well as gain an understanding and appreciation for child development. I have facilitated acting workshops and supervised activities for 5- to 12-year-olds, with group sizes ranging from 5 to 25 children. These experiences allowed me to merge my skills as a trained actor with my passion for youth development, and I learned new and creative strategies for engaging with children. I have also had amazing experiences working with individuals on the autism spectrum. My former students have ranged from 5 to 23 years old, and I have worked in both small and large group settings.
