Hi, I'm D (they/them)! I'm excited to learn more about your animal care and house cleaning or organizing needs! :) I have over seven years of experience providing care for animals across a wide range of settings: private homes, shelters, farms, and sanctuaries in the US and Norway. In Chicago, I worked as a caregiver, offering personalized in-home support for pets. I also worked as a Foster Coordinator and Animal Caregiver at the shelter, One Tail at a Time. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, cows, horses, goats, sheep, chickens, and ducks on farms and sanctuaries. In each role, I was responsible for daily feeding, medication administration, behavioral observation, and enrichment. I approach every animal as an individual, with patience, consistency, and close attention to their specific needs. As a live-in caregiver, maintaining a clean and organized home is a natural part of my daily routine. I take pride in keeping spaces tidy, functional, and respectful of everyone.
