About Mellery

I grew up in an animal-loving family. Within the past 22 years, my house has been a home to many dogs, cats, birds, fish, and a guinea pig. The vast majority of these pets have been rescues and/or shelter animals. I worked as a camp counselor at a humane society, and handled/cared for multiple classroom animals and taught animal safety. Additionally, I was a TA in a high school biology classroom for a semester and cared for several smaller critters daily. I have dog-sat for multiple families, whose dogs ranged from puppy to senior, and petite to large. I am willing to provide cage cleaning, feeding, walking, administering some medication, brushing, and bathing for animals (as long as materials are provided). I will also change water, play with them, and /or pet or rub them. I have yet to meet an animal I don't have a soft spot for.
