About Danielle

Enriching the lives of youth has been a driving force in my career choices since I entered the workforce. For over 11 years I have worked as a babysitter, nanny, swim instructor, and youth and family specialist. This has given me the opportunity to support families from a variety of backgrounds. While in college I nannied for a St. Petersburg family, caring for their three children daily after school and on occasional evenings. I truly enjoyed becoming a part of their family! Since then, I have babysat part time for several local families. Since graduating from Eckerd College in 2010, I have been employed by a local program for refugee children. I am responsible for planning and implementing engaging summer and after-school educational and enrichment activities. I tutor the children in school subjects while also teaching them about responsibility, tolerance, healthy living, and other topics to help them become well-rounded and succeed in their new lives here in the US.
