After seven years in the tech industry, I was recently laid off and am taking some time before returning to the corporate world to focus on something I love: caring for children. For the past year, I've volunteered at an early childhood center for unhoused children in Roxbury, where I help care for six infants ranging from 8 weeks to 10 months old. Spending time with "our babies" is truly the highlight of my week. I also have extensive nannying experience. Throughout college, I worked full-time for a family in Weston, starting when their son was 18 months old. During my time with them, they welcomed two more children, and I became a trusted part of their family. I am warm, patient, dependable, and genuinely love helping children learn, grow, and feel safe. Brooke is a conscientious, energetic young woman who is a role model to my daughters (10 and 8) and has been our babysitter for the last several years. I have 4 children, now ages 10, 8, 5, and 5. Brooke has been a dependable, responsible, and terrific babysitter. She has learned much from watching her mother, a preschool teacher, and professional nanny. Brooke is highly motivated, trustworthy and I highly recommend her.
