About Damaris

Hi, I worked at a school helping out as a teacher's aide for Pre-4, Kindergarten and 1st grade. Reading, arts and crafts, and learning to tie shoes were the most popular activities I participated in! I have also donated my babysitting services for a silent auction and was in the middle of a bidding war (the bid ended up to be pretty high!). I have cared for families with 1 child to families with 7 children. I love children and I think it's a great opportunity to be able to work with them. I have excellent references. What you will hear is that I am fun, responsible, dependable, patient and very loyal. Confidentiality is very important to me and taking care of little ones is a very special job. I have 4 sisters and one brother whom I have babysat for and I also have a 16-year-old son who I have raised alone and home-schooled since he was in 5th grade. I know that, given the chance to meet you and your family, I will prove that this will be a perfect fit. I am a good person and will do everything I can to connect with the kids. I am very patient when it comes to children. I believe children cannot be rushed, especially at an early age when the children are curious about so many different things. I think being patient will help them feel more confident and secure. I know it is very hard to trust anyone with your children, but I am very trustworthy and loving.
