About Cristy

I am an energetic and caring educator with a Master's in Teaching and a strong background working with children. I've worked with a range of ages through classroom experience, student teaching, and by creating and teaching my own culinary camp programs. I really enjoy working with kids because of their curiosity and energy. I love creating engaging activities that help them learn while having fun, whether that's cooking, arts and crafts, reading, or board games. I also enjoy being active with children, including indoor and outdoor games, and swimming. I have reliable transportation and am dependable, organized, and consistent. I can also help with homework in both English and Spanish. In addition, I'm happy to assist with simple meal prep, snacks, bedtime routines, light housekeeping, and pet care. Most importantly, I truly enjoy building positive relationships with children and creating a safe, supportive environment where they feel comfortable and valued.
