About Mary

I'm an energetic, responsible, and caring mom of two grown children, now in their 20s and on their own. I've always loved working with children and enjoy keeping them safe, happy, engaged, active, and learning! My experience includes working as a substitute teacher and paraprofessional with children from preschool through high school. I've completed background, CORI, and SORI checks through my school and childcare work, and I'm certified in Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. For 25 years, I owned and operated a bakery, where I created hands-on activities and community events for children and families. Beginning in September, I'll also be teaching a children's cooking class. I'm interested in part-time regular, and occasional, one-time babysitting, such as date nights or when parents need an extra hand. I always like to meet the parents and children beforehand to discuss their routine, needs, and expectations and make sure everyone feels comfortable with the arrangement
