Hello! My name is Courtney, I am a passionate professional with a Bachelors of Social Work (BSW) currently working towards obtaining my Masters of Social Work (MSW) degree. I currently work as an Intensive In-Home Counselor, specializing in supporting children who are facing behavioral and emotional regulation challenges, helping them overcome them, and reach their goals. This often involves assisting them with homework enhancing their reading skills, and fostering a positive learning environment. I understand the importance of patience and empathy in guiding students towards academic success. I am capable of assisting with a wide range of elementary subjects, but particularly specializing with English/Reading/Language Arts, elementary math, and elementary/introductory Spanish.
