About Courtney

Hi families! I am a former professional nanny interested in supporting families again! A little about me, I attended Howard University and worked as a nanny in the Washington, D. C. area for 8 years before moving into postpartum doula and newborn care specialist work for an additional 8 years. I have attended DONA and ProDoula postpartum doula trainings. I've also taken the Newborn Care Training Academy's 20-hour newborn course that covers advanced topics like preemie care and breastfeeding. I have also attended multiple sleep coach trainings. I love helping families adjust to life with a newborn! I can also provide breastfeeding education and newborn care education. I have extensive knowledge and experience working within the home overnight, day time, evenings, and 24/7.
