About Cordelia

Both substituting for Barnstable public schools and working in the young toddler rooms at West Parish Family School has provided me with amazing experiences. I have spent time with a range of ages and varying degrees of special needs. I have always had a passion for helping others. Aside from formal work, I have also been assisting family and friends with their childcare for around eight years now. While my main priority is child safety and comfort, as well as following routines or instructions provided, I also enjoy bringing knowledge from my previous experiences into play-based learning when possible and situationally appropriate. In addition to my experience working with children, I hold certifications as a yoga teacher, a holistic health coach, and am currently in the process of obtaining my license as an aesthetician. Though excited for my new career path, I will greatly miss my time in the classroom which is what brings me here!
