About Consuelo

Hello! I'm a dedicated tutor with five years of experience supporting middle school and high school students, primarily through the AVID program, which focuses on academic and personal growth. I have also supported college students through the Academic Advancement Program at UCLA. I have a passion for guiding young learners, both academically and in their personal development, and I'm also a first communion catechist. I began my journey as a peer tutor in high school, and since then, I've found joy in helping students thrive. I graduated from UCLA in 2023 with a degree in sociology, along with minors in education studies and Chicano studies, which have deepened my understanding of diverse learning needs and effective teaching strategies. I'm here to provide compassionate, knowledgeable support tailored to each student's unique strengths and challenges. I look forward to helping your child succeed!
