I know how important it is to have reliable care. It was only a few years ago I was using this site to find sitters and tutors for my kids. Now, here I am with my youngest nearly grown and looking to earn some extra cash to go visit family out of state on a regular basis (I can't get enough of my parents, sister and niece) and hoping I can provide the quality care I was so diligently searching for to another family. Before I had kids of my own I nannied for infants - elementary. I am a former middle school and high school teacher. I homeschooled my youngest from elementary - high school. I have been CPR certified multiple times but don't currently keep that active. I am well versed in trauma informed care and have experience with neuro-divergent kids and teens. I believe kids do well when they can, safety and felt safety are key, and in having fun with kids. I value relationships but also work a fulltime so families I could get to know and work with as needed would be ideal.
