Certified classroom teacher. BA in Writing from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Training in special education from Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes. 8 years of experience teaching and tutoring writing, reading comprehension, grammar, phonics, and ESL. My years in the classroom, training in evidence-backed pedagogical techniques, and passion for literacy make me the patient, enthusiastic, results-driven educator I am today. I've worked with kids as young as 4 years old to build strong language foundations, as well as adult learners in their 70s. I've met with graduate students to better polish their master theses, and I've stood alongside middle schoolers years behind in reading comprehension as they worked their way to grade level and beyond. Whoever my student is, I'll meet them where they are to help them reach their learning goals.
