About Cheri

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, genuine, and helpful. I like tutoring because I enjoy teaching and helping students to develop their confidence in their own ability and to grow their love for learning. I'm looking for a job that allows me to build with the student(s) I am working with. I would also love the flexibility to tutor virtually as well as in person. I started tutoring when I was in high school as a volunteer, and continued throughout college and while a teacher after graduation as well. In my spare time, I like to write, listen to music, catch up on the newest seasons of my favorite shows and shoot photography. One thing you should know about me is that I have experience as a tutor and as a certified middle and high school teacher. My skills include lesson planning, student encouragement, and content scaffolding.
