About Chelsea

Hello! I am a patient, reliable, and creative girl who loves teaching and working with children! Most of my experience is with young children, although I am also comfortable working with older kids, as well. I have a 120-hour TEFL certificate and just recently returned from teaching English as a Second Language in South Korea where I taught 5-year-olds English with a focus in Phonics, reading, and handwriting. My class size was 9 students so I am able to adapt to many different learning styles to ensure each child learns in a way that makes sense for them. I also have a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication and previously worked as a marketing professional and copywriter before pursuing a career as an ESL teacher.
