About Stephanie

I have worked as a tutor on and off throughout my schooling from the age of 14. I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Music Therapy as well and am specifically trained in working with individuals with a variety of learning styles and abilities. I have worked with severely impaired children all the way to children who are gifted but may have difficulty in a particular subject. I enjoy working with children of all abilities and helping them find the solutions they need on their level. My abilities to be compassionate, understanding, but also disciplined lend themselves nicely to teaching others. I'm a big believer in multi-style learning in utilizing all or most the 5 senses in order to learn new things. What works for some may not work for all, and my job is to figure out what is the best route for them to take. I am able to tutor in English, writing, math (up to high school level), music, music theory, art, and science as well. I look forward to the opportunity to work with your child or children and help them discover that they can do anything they set their minds to.
