About Charlotte

I am a junior nursing student at the USC! I hope to be a pediatric nurse, as I love working with kids and helping them grow physically as well as emotionally. I have experience nannying for a family two children, ages 2 and 4, for the past 3 years. I also nannied for a family with girls ages 5-10. I was a medical caretaker for a little girl with a cecostomy port that I cleaned, flushed, and hung solutions from. I am CPR, Wound Care, and First Aid Certified (as well as various nursing skills) and have a driver's license/car for transportation! My goal is to foster a safe and supportive environment where children can grow and thrive. I am especially focused on helping them identify, understand, and manage their emotions, as children are remarkably impressionable. Often times, when a child has feelings too big to keep quiet, they just need someone to understand them and teach them healthier, more acceptable coping mechanisms.
