As a psychology graduate, I know just how important our childhoods are and I want every kid to have positive experiences. I started really working with kids when I was 16 and asked by my high school along with a few other select students to mentor kids experiencing hardships, through a program called FNL. I have experience mentoring kids for 2 years and another 3 years babysitting for multiple families long-term that I continue to work with. I worked long-term with one family of two kids under 10 and grew to love them. I also have a younger brother and I help him with meals, driving, schoolwork, etc. I'm a very good tutor, so I'm also happy to help with homework/tests.
