About Cate

I'd describe my personality as easygoing, creative, & responsible. I like working with kids because I am inspired by their innocence. They are at such a malleable stage and I love encouraging kindness, confidence, and individuality to help kickstart a bright future. I also know how expensive and stressful finding childcare can be, so I would be happy to offer peace of mind to parents. I'm looking for a communicative and respectful family with clear expectations. Outside of school, I currently work part time as a banquet server in York, and events worker for Lancaster Cupcake. In my free time, I love to try new recipes, explore local restaurants (clearly I love food), make arts and crafts, and read. I have been babysitting my nieces and nephews starting in middle school, and volunteered as a lower school math tutor throughout high school. My skills include assisting with homework, activity planning, and adaptability.
