About Carolyn

I am available for a part time, afternoon/night time child care role that could turn into a semi often babysitting role! I am an elementary teacher, and I have 15 years of experience, including eight years teaching abroad at an international school in China. I have an Elementary Education degree and a Master's in Children and Family Ministries. Currently, I am teaching at an independent school in Lancaster where I taught 5th grade for two years and then preschool for four (ages 3-4). Last year and this year I will teach third grade. I have coached soccer and lacrosse for 21 years, and I have coached players ages 2 years old through 12th grade! I think that supporting children's interests and natural talents is important, and I love providing hand on activities to support the students and families I am working with! I have all of my background checks as I am continuing to work with3-4-year-olds at my schools after school program, and I am happy to send them at your request!
