Hello, my name is Cassie. I am a UW grad and have over 12 years childcare experience. I'm a fun, organized and energetic nanny who strives to ensure that kids stay active and engaged through playtime, exercise, art, trips to parks, etc.. I am not timid about enforcing the house rules with kids, but I use discipline not as punishment but rather as a listening and teaching moment to respect and recognize boundaries, while not demanding kids be perfectly calm in order to be heard and helped. Additionally, I have experience working with kids as a personal tutor, with homework help, and most recently developed a method for teaching pre-kindergarten kids how to read and write, in addition to basic ASL. If relevant, I do have working experience with twins and children on the Spectrum. I am comfortable with pets and housework as well.

Cassie has been with our family (twin, six year old, boys) for over three years. She has been an absolute joy to work with and her care has been a gift to our family. She is reliable, consistent, calm, and thoughtful. Cassie brings experience, knowledge, and pride to her her role, our home, and childcare practices. She has helped our family successfully transition from preschool to grade school and fostered positive growth in both boys.
