Having raised and home schooled our three children, nannied 10 others (most starting as infants), taught Jr High Sunday School and directed a Classical Home School Tutorial, I am well experienced in loving, nurturing and training infants through young adults. I enjoy training these little ones, watching their eyes light up with each new experience and take notice of their likes, dislikes and special talents while helping them develop new skills in a safe and nurturing environment. A typical day with me includes singing/music, reading, playing indoors and out (weather permitting) along with the necessary diapering, feeding, food prep and cleaning up. I work well with parents, listen well and am teachable, keep a Nanny Log and am always reachable by cell phone. Also, I am patient, attentive (never turn on the TV!), actively involved, punctual and reliable. I am certified in infant-adult CPR/First Aid, have had a clean background check and have excellent references.

Carolyn was the full time nanny for our family, specifically, our son, from the time he was born until he turned two and started school. She also occasionally cared for our 5 year-old daughter, if the need or circumstance ever arose. She was exceptionally conscientious, as our son has some unique health concerns; as well as flexible and willing to help in additional ways if ever needed! While, our life circumstances have changed in such a way we no longer require full time help, I certainly hope she will remain a part of our lives and be available to help on an "as needed" basis.
