About Caroline

I am a junior at Colorado College student studying education, specifically focusing on educational psychology. I am experienced and passionate about youth empowerment, and have an array of past positions, both recreational and academic, that have developed and strengthened my skills working with children and teenagers. I have worked as a counselor at an all-girls traditional overnight camp for four summers, specializing in middle school aged girls and socially excluded girls. I've had the opportunity to work as an experienced student aide in various different classrooms, with long-term positions in first grade, fifth grade and seventh grade. I also have a background with arts integration in education, and was an art exhibit activity leader for elementary and middle after school programs. I have loved my experiences as a caregiver, beginning when I was 13, watching and working with kids of all ages. Beyond nannying, I was also a long term mentor for a middle school girl during the summer and school year of 2012. I am first aid and CPR certified. I genuinely enjoy working with kids and want to devote my professional career to empowering and educating youth.
