I'm a sophomore at UC Berkeley studying Chemical Biology and African American Studies. I'm taking UCLA summer classes to strengthen my academic profile toward medical school, and the money I earn through babysitting would directly support my educational and future goals. For years, I've hoped to integrate medicine with culture, believing healthcare requires both strong scientific knowledge and cultural understanding. Through babysitting, I hope to gain more experience working with children and families from diverse backgrounds while building the empathy, communication, and responsibility deemed essential in medicine and in working with patients. I've babysat since I was 13 for my younger sister and children in my neighborhood. Born and raised in Los Angeles, I know the city exceptionally well. Im familiar with local activities, food options, hospitals, urgent cares, and neighborhoods, that allows me to provide safe, reliable, and attentive care while attending to your family's needs.
