About Calista

I was born and raised in San Francisco and learned Spanish in an SFUSD Spanish immersion school. I studied English literature at Glasgow Uni in Scotland. Now that I'm back home I'm working on my law school applications for next fall and I'm hoping to pick up some child care work! I grew up riding horses at Moss Beach Ranch and spent several years as an instructor/head counselor for kids at the camp and the lesson program. In high school I was an assistant counselor at YMCA Camp Jones Gulch where I was trained in bullying prevention and child safety. I'm very open with my schedule and I have a valid CA drivers license. I'm happy to set up a call or meet up for coffee if you'd like to get to know me more! I like working with kids because of their wild imaginations and open minds. So many things are new to them (ranging from a fun book series to riding a bike) and experiencing it with them is like experiencing it for the first time all over again :)
