About Caitrin

I have been an after school assistant at a middle school in the past, worked as a dance assistant, and more recently have worked as a babysitter, volunteer tutor, and a private tutor. I am a part of the phi theta kappa honors society, fully vaccinated, own a car, a non-smoker/drinker, and adore kids and pets! Within the teaching program I have been able to gain valuable experience through my student observations and student teaching where there was an emphasis placed classroom environment, class management, NYS and ACTFL standards, and student engagement. Additional experience has come from the variety of lesson planning opportunities and developments of assessments, development of close parent-teacher relationships, and development of a welcoming classroom atmosphere. I believe that these skills make me a great fit.
