About Sarah E

Hi! I'm Sarah, a grad student at Sarah Lawrence College studying early childhood education. Growing up my mom was a children's librarian at our local library and I helped throughout my adolescence with program development, entertaining, caring for, and helping children with reading and homework. I spent the last year as an assistant teacher in a kindergarten classroom with a lovely group of 5 and 6-year-olds. I have tutored at the Yonkers Public Library for the past 2 years and have been working at the Sarah Lawrence Early Childhood Center as a teacher assistant in a lovely class of 4-year-olds. I have lots of experience with intentional language, conflict resolution, and general care. In high school I babysat for several years for families in my neighborhood and patrons of the library. I can help with household chores, crafts and entertainment, and cooking/meal prep as well.
