About Caitlyn

I have 15 years of tutoring experience. My first student, a 10th grader in Honors English, increased her grade from a C to an A- in a month. Other student experiences include: a struggling geometry student that was placed in honors geometry after one semester; a high school junior whose ACT score raised from a 16 to a 25 in a couple of months; a high schooler awarded a full ride scholarship to a prestigious college, which was her school of choice. I believe that the key to student success is teaching students how to learn. This inspires confidence in students, which promotes independence, perseverance, and work ethic. I am patient and accessible, and modify teaching strategies to accommodate students' and family's needs. I specialize in all levels of English writing and reading, grade level Math, History, Science, and Spanish, and ACT and SAT preparation. I also work with students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and ESL concerns. Every session is followed by a detailed summary.
