About Caitlyn

Hello all! I am 26 years old and have been living in Portland, OR since February 2020 (some timing)! I have worked in a variety of child care and education fields since I was a teenager. I began at the age of 14, organizing and leading theater summer camps. Since then I have been a volunteer childcare/ activity planner for a homeless shelter (in Virginia), a preschool teacher, and a nanny for several years. Since moving to Portland, I have worked consistently as a caregiver for older adults and as a nanny. I am CPR and first aid with basic life support certified. I have attended many hours of Adult Caregiver training courses and am confident to learn the skills needed to meet each individual persons needs and interests! In my spare time, I love to be outdoors hiking, camping, and kayaking. I like to spend time tending to my vegetable garden and reading a good book. Some other hobbies include making jewelry, solving puzzles, and trying out new vegan recipes.
