I started babysitting and pet sitting in high school. I babysat a 3-year-old girl weekly for a year. I also baby, pet and house sat for some of my parents friends during that time. In college I babysat a 3-year-old medically fragile girl with brain damage. I also volunteered in nursing homes by taking my certified therapy cat to go visit residents. Over the years I have tagged along with my mother on some of her visits to do respite care with individuals who are elderly and disabled. Since moving to Portland a year and a half ago I have dog/house sat for a couple and can put you in contact with them as a reference. The camp serves children and adults with disabilities. I am currently CPR and first aid certified.
