About Caitlin

Hi! I am currently a graduate student at OHSU working towards a masters in Food Systems in Societies. I am passionate about gardening, cooking, reading, and the outdoors and would love to share that with your family. Spending time with children and teens is a joyful practice for me, so I am happy to participate in care-giving for your kiddos. For the past five years I've worked in restaurants as a professional cook and have experience with a variety of cuisines and dietary requirements. I have also volunteered as a cook at a queer youth resource center and have experience cooking for teenagers. Before jumping in to the wonderful world of food, I worked as a middle school English teacher in Thailand and a preschool and kindergarten special education teacher in Boston, MA. I have a part-time job and am looking to supplement my income during school with babysitting, either as intermittent opportunities or if it works for both of our schedules, a regular gig up to 10 hours per week.
