Hi! I am new to care. com. Currently, I am a first-grade teacher and have taught for 5 years. I love it! I am certified to work with Early Childhood Students and Elementary Students (birth-6th grade). In addition to teaching for the last few years, I have gained experience tutoring reading and math skills. I am also on the lookout for elementary tutoring options. I'd describe my teaching as engaging, fun, and hands on learning. I like tutoring because it provides students with the extra support they need to be successful in the classroom. Before becoming a teacher, I babysat for 10+ years for different families with different needs and ages. Depending on your family's needs I can be an "on-call" babysitter, or have a weekly routine. In college, I coached children's gymnastics. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my dog going on different nature walks. I also enjoy spending time with my family and at the lake.
