Hello! My name is Blanca. I have been a professional child care provider for over 26 years, giving me the following experience in the field: 3 years as a private school Kindergarten teacher, 8 years at Home Child Care/Development Centers ( private and non) and 14 years as a private nanny. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, don't drink or smoke and will use basic sign language when caring for infants/toddlers as they learn to communicate with their body gestures faster than verbally. I am CPR/First Aid certified and focus on cognitive and emotional child development quality learning. I am a Published Author in Peaceful Parenting, sharing the skills ive used at work and at home and am currently getting my Parenting Coach Certification on the same topic as well as in the process of be oming a certified Newborn Specialis!! We were incredibly fortunate to have Blanca  as our nanny for two years, and she remains the best nanny we have ever had. She is exceptionally knowledgeable, deeply caring, and always thoughtful in everything she does. Her open and honest communication gave us complete trust and peace of mind, and she truly felt like a partner in raising our children. She cared for them with patience, love, and genuine dedication, always putting their well-being first. Over time, she truly became like family to us. What speaks volumes is that even five years later, our kids still talk about her with love and excitement—she made a lasting impact on their lives.

Blanca helped out with my daughter one day and she was great. She showed up on time and my daughter was laughing the entire time. She made sure my daughter took her usual nap on time. It's usually hard for strangers to put my daughter to sleep but she did it. She kept sending me pictures and videos of my daughter. She kept me updated.  Very reliable.

For our nanny search, we reviewed 150+ applications, interviewed 20+ applicants, and had a practice half-day session with 7 different candidates. Blanca was at the top of our list after this exhaustive process by a wide margin. Even with our extremely high expectations, and she was even better than expected! We spent two years with Blanca and she became part of the family. Blanca is very gracious, loving, and engaged as well as highly organized and an amazing teacher. Every day our son learned something new from Blanca - the running joke amongst our relatives was "Oh, Blanca must have taught him that!" :) She also makes it fun - our son's wall is covered with various arts and crafts that Blanca made with him. She also does a wonderful job of creating videos (Blanca is so talented!) each week with various highlights. They are absolutely priceless to us. If we hadn't moved to a new city, we would have kept her forever. We will truly miss her!

Blanca watched our baby for a total of 13 months, starting at age 4 and a half months old. From the very beginning, she did a phenomenal job with our baby girl.  She always went the extra mile to give her excellent care and always made us feel comfortable with being away from our daughter.  Without being asked, she brought it upon herself to send us pictures and videos throughout each day as she knew we would appreciate treasuring each step of her development.  She even did unique arts and crafts with our daughter for each (first) holiday.  She was incredibly patient with our daughter and kept her on a strict schedule (per our request), which we believe helped form healthy habits for sleeping and eating.  She was flexible with time, supportive of our process learning as first time parents, and an excellent communicator.  She is such a natural with children and we highly recommend her to any family considering her to watch their children.  She is the very best of the best out there!

We love Blanca!!! She cared for our daughter for 6 weeks as part of a nanny share and we could not have been happier with the care she received. Lots of outings, playtime and bubbles - plus our daughter knows her ABC's now and her verbal skills really improved in the short time they spent together.  Blanca is a great communicator - she sent lots of pictures and videos (she is a talented video producer!) and was always quick to answer questions we had. She also gave us daily updates on naps, diapers and eating which were very helpful. Blanca's sunny personality is wonderful and our daughter absolutely loved spending time with her!

Blanca is smart, reliable, and incredibly sweet. We would definitely hire her again!

Ms. Blanca is the most thoughtful and caring childcare professional I have known till date.  I am counting on rehiring her again when her schedule permits.

Blanca was reliable and very affectionate with our young son. She was full of energy and happy to take him to multiple museums and other sights. She also came up with creative and enjoyable crafts projects with him.  He immediately took to her warm personality. Blanca is also a fantastic photographer and sent us marvelous photos of our son throughout the day. She was very communicative with us as a whole and a true pleasure to be around.

Blanca is a true gem of a caregiver. She gives her heart to her work. Our son thrived under her care for 1.5 years and Blanca was instrumental with all the early milestones - learning solids, walking, talking, potty training (in two languages) and even letters and numbers. She isn't just a caregiver, she is a patient teacher who helps kids be kind, good listeners and curious learners. Her years of experience means she is a wealth of knowledge but she also meets kids where they are, focusing on their strengths. Any family is lucky to be able to work with Blanca. 

We were so lucky to have the pleasure of working with Blanca full time for more than a year and half. She is not only a gracious, loving, and engaged caregiver; but also incredibly organized, scheduled, and prioritized the children's development and happiness. I could trust her to know what was right for my daughter, when it was right for my daughter, with very little direct day-to-day guidance.  We all miss her and know that anyone who has the chance of working with Blanca will be very fortunate.
