I am an experienced, highly qualified teacher in special and elementary education. I have had all successful experiences working one-on-one to teach, review, and reinforce skills in all subject areas in pre-k, kindergarten and grads 1 to 7. I am patient and kind and can keep a student focused for each lesson by breaking down concepts using time frames to maintain attention. I can tutor within 10 to 15 miles. As your tutor, I promise to make our sessions as engaging, lively and meaningful as possible. That's the promise I made to all my students when I was a teacher and to the students and teachers who use the resources I've developed over the years for Special Education. Sure, I'll help you with your homework if that's what you need. In the process, you will become a more independent learner who is excited about exploring new ideas, applying new skills and finding hidden talents. If your schoolwork is mostly about reading textbooks and taking tests, I can help you handle that by showing you how to breathe life into that work. I can help you with big projects like reports, essays and presentations. We'll work together to find approaches that work for you and impress your teachers with your knowledge and creativity.
