About Alexandra

Hello! My name is Alex. I am currently a senior at James Madison University and am majoring in Math with a minor in Secondary Education. During my senior year of high school, I was a Teacher Cadet and had the opportunity to shadow a Geometry teacher every other morning. I also completed my Senior Capstone by shadowing a teacher in an Algebra and Math 8 classroom. When I am home from school, I have tutored students from second grade to high school. At James Madison University, I help my peers with math from Algebra to Calculus, as well as Statistics. I was also on the executive board for Raising an Organization of Trained Educators, where I volunteered in middle school classrooms. I was also a "Big Sister" in the organization Big Brother Big Sister. Depending on the needs of your student(s), I can provide worksheets and materials that go along with their curriculum or just focus on certain topics that need additional help.
