About Benjamin

Benjamin has been playing drums professionally for 17 years, teaching drumset lessons for 14 years. Benjamin has also taught beginner piano and music theory for two years. Benjamin is the drummer in Lucky Chops, touring and recording with the band since 2021 and has experience playing in headliner shows, festivals, wedding bands, and jazz bands. Benjamin has background in jazz, funk, rock, bluegrass, brass music, pop, and theatre music. Benjamin teaches all levels of drumming, having experience teaching beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. Benjamin focuses on teaching sticking technique, rudiments, drum grooves/exercises, reading music, learning music by ear, transcribing, and audition preparation. Benjamin is more than willing to work on whatever the student is looking to accomplish. Benjamin teaches both in-person and remote.
