About Belinda

I am a former middle school teacher that has transitioned back to healthcare. I love my work because it gives me purpose. Helping people is my passion and I consider it an act of love. I would describe my personality as cheerful, kind, thoughtful. I like caring for seniors because it gives me someone to take care of as I don't have children of my own and I enjoy their stories. I'm looking for a job as a live-in, but open to hourly positions. I've worked as a live-in, in hospitals, long term care facilities and with agencies outside of teaching middle school science and substituting. I started my first live-in position when I was a substitute teacher. He became my family and I have taken that into every household that I enter, that my client is family. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, & take walks. My skills include cooking, feeding if necessary, and being a good companion.
