About Barbara

I am a retired Special Education teacher who loves a challenge. I enjoy working with students who do not learn as well as others in a regular classroom. I am well aware that the Covid-19 pandemic has altered educational opportunities in a negative way and would like to help students who were impacted in the early grades. Most of my years in school settings were spent in Elementary, Special Education Resource Rooms. I met with special needs students, for whom I individualized one-on-one lessons to meet their particular needs. I was also the principal at an elementary school. I have tutored for a number of years since leaving a school setting. English is my favorite subject! In my spare time I do writing and editing for small businesses and a couple of authors. I can help you, whatever the subject matter. In addition to assisting school children, I also work with adults who might be struggling with advanced education. I believe I can help you succeed!
