About Ayesha

I'm a DC-based professional with a master's degree and nearly a decade of experience working with children -- from tutoring and after-school programs, to educational programming at the Smithsonian, to leading extracurriculars at a boarding school in India serving children from low-income families. I've babysat and nannied children between the ages of 1. 5 and 6 in NY and DC, as well as in South Africa where I was living recently. I just returned to the US after several years of slow travel across Asia, Africa, and Europe, and I'm now happily settled back in DC. Beyond childcare, I'm happy to keep the house tidy and run errands when the opportunity arises. I'm reliable, communicative, and take the responsibility of caring for someone's children seriously. Parents can expect me to follow routines, keep them in the loop, and give their kids my full attention.
