About Michaela

I'm a childcare professional with 15+ years of experience and a Master's in Social Work focused on children and families. My background spans elementary school social work and case management, sleep-away camp (where I led the art program), preschool teaching, contract nannying with White House Nannies, and five years teaching Judaic studies to kids ages 4-8. I've cared for children from 6 months up, in both in-home and professional settings. I'm CPR certified and can provide multiple references. I'm creative, patient, and enthusiastic, and I care about working closely with families to make sure I'm meeting their needs. Based in DC, open to part-time or full-time positions. I don't own a car but I'm licensed and comfortable driving. Happy to help with light housekeeping, transporting kids, and pet care too.
