About Avery

Hi, I'm Avery! I'm the oldest of four siblings, and I think that's where my love for babysitting began -- especially with my youngest sister, who's 17 years younger than I am. I've been babysitting for as long as I can remember and also spent two years as a nanny for a wonderful family with five kids. I also minored in family studies in college, where I learned a lot about child development through my coursework, and I believe that knowledge will help me navigate many different situations. When I'm with children, I always try to be a positive example, show kindness, create a safe environment, and have lots of fun together -- of course! My husband and I will be living in Houston this summer for his law firm associateship, and I'd love the chance to care for your kids while we're here.
